If there’s one Chol Hamoed concert that has people talking right now, it’s this one. For the first time ever, Yerachmiel Begun is releasing two albums at once, his debut solo album “Next Year in Yerushalayim” alongside a brand new Miami Boys Choir album “& On That Day.” This exclusive preview event lets the audience hear the new material before anyone else. The full albums won’t be released to the public until Lag B’omer, and even then won’t hit standard streaming platforms.

Joining the celebration are Uri Davidi and Nachas, performing their biggest hits and teaming up with Yerachmiel for a massive Miami Legacy section. Also taking the stage are The Bochrim, formerly the Miami Teens, fresh from learning in Eretz Yisroel. The Shirainu Orchestra will be enhanced by symphony string players, bringing the new arrangements to life. This is Miami 49 (1977 to 2026), and it’s shaping up to be a historic night for Jewish music.

Pro Tips for Concert Night

Buy Tickets Early

Popular shows sell out weeks in advance. Don’t wait for the Moed to start, lock in your seats now while they’re still available.

Check Seating

Verify if seats are reserved or general admission, especially when bringing kids or elderly family members. Check the venue map before buying.

Plan Parking

Venues get packed fast. Give yourself an extra 30 to 45 minutes for parking and getting settled, especially in Brooklyn or Lakewood.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Chol Hamoed Concerts

If you’ve been to Chol Hamoed concerts before, you know the drill. But if this is your first year going or you’re bringing a bigger crew, here are a few things worth keeping in mind to make sure your night goes smoothly.

Buy tickets early to avoid sell-outs

This is the biggest one. Popular Chol Hamoed concerts sell out, sometimes well before the holiday even starts. If there’s a show you want to go to, don’t wait. The closer you get to Chol Hamoed, the more limited your options become, and prices tend to go up on secondary markets or resale platforms.

Check the venue and seating setup

Not all Chol Hamoed concerts are created equal when it comes to seating. Some are general admission, some have reserved seats, and some have VIP sections. If you’re going with kids or older family members, it’s worth knowing what you’re walking into so you can pick the right tickets. Check the venue map carefully before clicking “Buy.”

Think about timing for families

Evening concerts work great for adults and older kids, but if you’ve got little ones, look for shows with earlier start times or matinee options. Some Chol Hamoed concerts specifically cater to families with younger children, and those can be a much better experience than dragging a tired toddler to a 9 PM show in the middle of a busy week.

Plan your parking and travel in advance

Chol Hamoed concert venues in Brooklyn, Lakewood, and Monsey can get packed, and parking is often a nightmare. Give yourself extra time, carpool if you can, and check ahead of time if the venue has specific parking instructions or nearby garages. A little planning goes a long way toward keeping the evening stress free.

How to Find Chol Hamoed Concerts Near You

One of the trickiest parts of planning Chol Hamoed is just knowing what’s out there. Concerts get announced on Instagram, WhatsApp groups, flyers in shuls, and a dozen other places, which makes it really easy to miss something.

That’s why having one central place to check is so helpful. Mekomos keeps a running list of Chol Hamoed concerts with details, dates, and links, all in one spot. Instead of scrolling through group chats trying to find that one flyer someone posted three weeks ago, you can just pull up the listings and see everything at a glance.

Whether you’re in Brooklyn, Lakewood, Monsey, or anywhere in the NY/NJ area, it’s the easiest way to make sure you’re not missing out on a great show.

Looking for More Than Just Concerts?

Chol Hamoed concerts are obviously a highlight, but they’re not the only thing going on during the break. From amusement parks and arcades to nature trips, bowling, and museums, the Tristate area is full of events for the whole family.
