1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Mekomos (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using https://mekomos.com/ and any related pages, features, or services (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Site.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, these Terms control to the extent permitted by law.
2. Use of the Site
- You must use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

3.1 User Content
Users may submit listings, descriptions, images, logos, event details, contact information, and other materials (“User Content”). You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit User Content and that it is accurate, lawful, and appropriate.
By submitting User Content, you grant Mekomos a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify for formatting, publicly display, publicly perform, distribute, and otherwise use the User Content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Site.
3.2 Community Standards and Content Restrictions
Because Mekomos primarily serves a frum/Jewish audience, all submissions must respect community standards of modesty and appropriateness. Content may not include:
- Images of immodestly dressed individuals
- Female images in contexts that may be considered inappropriate for our community
- Obscene, offensive, discriminatory, hateful, or otherwise unsuitable material
- Unlawful content, including material that infringes third-party privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights
We reserve the right to interpret and enforce these standards at our sole discretion.
3.3 Content Moderation and Our Discretion
- We may, at our absolute and sole discretion, edit, refuse, or remove any content (including text, images, videos, or listings) submitted to the Site.
- We are not obligated to provide notice, explanation, or justification for such actions.
- No refunds or compensation will be due for edited, rejected, or removed content.
- By submitting content, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
4. Pricing and Services

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mekomos and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mekomos and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
10.1 Arbitration
Except where prohibited by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in Ocean County, New Jersey, before a single arbitrator. The language of the arbitration will be English. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
10.2 Class Action Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that you may bring claims against us only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
10.3 Injunctive Relief
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Prohibited Use of Content and Data
- All text, descriptions, listings, images, designs, databases, and other material on the Site are protected by intellectual property and database laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, harvest, index, mine, or otherwise collect or use Site content, listings, or descriptions for the purpose of creating, operating, or supporting any competing product, service, or website.
- Automated data collection methods, including bots, crawlers, spiders, and scrapers, are strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.
- Any unauthorized use of our content or data may result in legal action, including claims for damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of attorneys’ fees where permitted by law.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
14. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mekomos regarding the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements on that subject.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14.3 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
14.4 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
