A permanent fixture of New York City’s transit network since 1976, the Roosevelt Island Tram provides a fast, scenic, and reliable connection between Roosevelt Island and Manhattan. Operated by the RIOC, it serves as both an essential transit link and a world-class observation platform over the East River.
